Fantastic stay with excellent service!
I had a lovely stay for 2 nights in a Double Room. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Clapham South tube station, making it easy to explore London. The staff went above and beyond. they helped carry my luggage and provided great recommendations for nearby dining options. The room was impeccably clean and well-equipped with tea, coffee, and biscuits, adding a nice touch. My only suggestion would be to improve the noise insulation for light sleepers, as the nearby road can be a bit noisy.

I had a delightful stay at The Gateway, enjoying its impeccable cleanliness and excellent location just a block from the Clapham South underground station. The only drawback was the noise from the main road, but earplugs provided made it manageable. a wonderful value for the price!

The Gateway Hotel proved to be a great spot for my stay. The clean, spacious room had a comfy bed and a nice fridge. I enjoyed the ease of self-check-in. it made arriving hassle-free. Very few staff around, which took some getting used to. The noise from the road was noticeable, but earplugs helped. Perfectly located near the tube station, making trips into central London quick and convenient. Local eateries and a supermarket nearby were a real bonus. The bathroom, however, could use some improvement, as it felt cramped with little space for toiletries. I noticed the shower had some limescale, but it was functional. A small maintenance update would go a long way. Honestly, I would definitely consider returning due to the location and cleanliness, despite the small hiccups.

Positive aspects include a nicely clean room with a modern en-suite bathroom and excellent shower pressure. The smart TV with access to Netflix and a provided mini fridge were significant bonuses. the bed was quite firm, which may not suit everyone's preferences, and the parking situation was a bit cramped. noise from the nearby pub was occasionally disruptive, despite good sound insulation in our room. a comfortable stay with room for improvement.
